Valorie Lyng
VP OPERATIONS

Collaborative. Avid Gardener. Valorie brings more than 25 years experience in administrative, human resource and financial management to PGPR. As VP of Operations, she supervises corporate finances, benefits administration, policy development, employee relations, IT functions and Web site enhancements.

Prior to joining PetersGroup Public Relations in 2001, she worked for Strategic Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer’s representative company as vice president of Operations. Her responsibilities included overseeing the day-to-day management of a multi-office company with sites in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Additionally, she maintained the company’s e-catalog of products and services tailored for state and government agencies.

Valorie holds an associate’s degree in Radio, Television and Film. She is a member of several business and professional organizations including the Society of Human Resource Management. Valorie held a board position with the local Austin Chapter of Professional Photographers from 1995 to 1999 and has also served as editor of the organization’s newsletter, In-Focus. When Val is out of the office you can bet she’s busy in her garden or enjoying Lady Bird Lake.
